Terms & Conditions
Effective 9 July 2026 · Radiant Horizons Hospitality Private Limited
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Chat Translator API and developer portal (the "Service"), operated by Radiant Horizons Hospitality Private Limited, Second Floor, E-142, Gali Number 4, Vinod Nagar West, New Delhi, East Delhi, Delhi 110092, India ("we", "us"). By requesting an API key or calling the API, you ("you", "developer") agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Chat Translator is a text-translation API specializing in Hinglish and Indian languages, alongside 16 other languages, accessed via an API key. Features, languages, and rate limits may change as the Service evolves.
2. Accounts & API keys
- An API key is issued after signing in with Google. You're responsible for all activity under your key.
- Keep your key confidential. If it's compromised, request revocation immediately (Section 8, Contact).
- Don't share a single key across unrelated applications where usage can't be attributed back to your account.
3. Plans & fair use
The Service is offered on tiered plans (Free, Pro, Enterprise) with a fixed requests-per-minute cap per tier — see Pricing. We may throttle or suspend a key that exceeds its plan's cap or otherwise degrades Service stability for other developers.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, or translate content for an unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or reverse-engineer the underlying models beyond what the published MIT-licensed model already permits;
- Disrupt or overload the Service (e.g. scripted abuse, denial-of-service);
- Resell raw API access as a competing translation API without a separate agreement with us.
We may suspend or terminate a key for violation of this section without notice.
5. Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer an uptime SLA. Planned maintenance or upstream provider issues (compute, cache, identity) may cause temporary unavailability.
6. Intellectual property
The underlying translation model is MIT-licensed and self-hostable — see our GitHub repository. The hosted Service, portal, and brand ("Chat Translator") remain our property. Text you submit for translation remains yours; see our Privacy Policy for how it's handled.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of translation output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months (nil for the Free plan).
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing prabhat@hobostays.in. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, non-payment on paid plans (once billing is live), or to protect the Service or other users.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
11. Contact
